Soils and climate

  • Mafeking: Granite sand over sandstone. Cool climate being south of the Divide. 700 mm rainfall
  • Great Western: River loam. 550 mm rainfall

Vineyard management

  • Cane and spur pruned. Hand-picked with help from the local Willaura Football and Netball Club. Drip irrigation. Mulch.

  • Predominantly 100% estate grown and hand-picked. Yield averages around 0.8t/ha (2 t/ac)
