Established:  1989
Size: Total 3.2 ha (8 acres) made up of Shiraz 1.8 ha (4.5 ac) and Chardonnay 1.4 ha (3.5 ac)

Location:

366 Mafeking Rd, Willaura, 23 km SW of Moyston, or 37 km SW of Ararat in Western Victoria.
Wine Region: Grampians
Soils and climate: Granite sand over sandstone. Cool climate being south of the Divide. 28 inches rainfall.
Vineyard management: Cane pruned. Hand-picked with help from the local Moyston-Willaura Football and Netball Club. Drip irrigation. Mulch.
Winemaker: Wines are made by Tom Guthrie and Don Rowe, under the guidance of consultant Hamish Seabrook.
Wines:

Estate wines are hand-picked. Yield averages around 0.8t/ha (2 t/ac)

Production: 1000 cases

Wine availability:

GE wines are available at local restaurants, through mail order, and at our cellar door at Great Western called “Garden Gully – Grampians Wine and Produce”.
